Aegis Construction Consultants opens its doors to provide high-level project controls and risk mitigation services to the construction industry.
October 2007
Having earned a reputation as the 'go to' consultant in the region, Aegis wins its first $1 billion-dollar mega project at the National Geospatial Agency New Campus East.
June 2008
Two years after its founding, Aegis complete's its 100th project in the DC Metro region and begins to expand it services throughout the USA.
January 2010
Aegis adds Earned Value Management Services (EVM) as part of its portfolio of project controls services.
April 2011
With cloud data services starting to go mainstream, Aegis creates a unit focusing on this specialized work. This same year Aegis begins work on a mission critical data center valued at over $1.5 billion dollars.
January 2014
With work in 15 states, Aegis wins its 1000th project.
August 2014
Recognizing the loyalty and courage of the mighty Rhino, Aegis adopts this proud creature as its spirit animal.
January 2015
Aegis rebrands to Aegis Project Controls to better reflect its dedication to project controls.
February 2015
Due to its incredible success in winning work on the West Coast, most notably the $650M SR 91 Corridor Improvement project, Aegis opens its first regional office in Irvine, California.
May 2017
Having been selected to be part of the PennFIRST design and construction collaborative for the Penn Medicine Patient Pavilion (valued at $1.5 billion), Aegis opens its second regional office in Philadelphia, PA.
January 2018
With key clients in the southwest region, Aegis sees the opportunity to better integrate its services in the region and opens the Southwest office in Dallas, TX.
August 2019
With double digit construction growth in Ireland - Aegis opens its European operations in Dublin.
December 2019
After five years of working with owners, Aegis formalizes and expands its Owners Representative Services business line out of Miami, FL. This new office also allows Aegis to better service its southeast regional clients.
On the heels of much growth and expansion, Aegis proudly celebrates 15 years in business and sets its sights on charging ahead for decades to come.
